What to do with Clothes You Don't Want Anymore

Wardrobe Tips from Paige Brown Fashion (1).JPG

It's been over a year since I decided to minimize my wardrobe, and now it's time to do it again! Here's what I'm getting rid of this time:

-Things I didn't want to give up the first time.

-Items that were given to me as gifts that I don't wear.

-Old clothes that are damaged and need to be replaced.

When I first decided to clean out my wardrobe, I kept some things I thought I might still want to wear. Also, I received some items for Christmas and my birthday that just didn't fit my style. Lastly, I have some clothes that are just old, worn out, or damaged from work. Here's what I'm going to do with them:

I've tried Poshmark before, but they didn't sell in the length of time I had them posted. I don't want the clothes to still be lying around after I clean up, so I might  take them to Plato's Closet (ugh).

If the clothes are unsellable yet wearable, I'll give them to someone I know who wants them or drop in a donation box.

Anything that's torn, stained, not easily fixable  or I never got around to fixing it...just getting rid of it.

I didn't have that much to get rid of this time (thanks to the style analysis I did). I gave my sister a chance to take whatever she wanted, and everything else is going to a donation dropbox. What do you do with clothes you don't want anymore? Do you sell to places like Plato's Closet or Poshmark?
